Acclaim Credit Technologies was founded by Bruce Tschannen, a veteran of the credit profession since 1969. After ten years in management with Sears, Roebuck and Company, Tschannen established an in-house collection department for Mohawk Petroleum in Bakersfield, CA. From there he joined Ultramar (known in the Valley as Beacon Oil Company). For sixteen years as Credit Manager, he gained a reputation for his ability to manage and motivate people to achieve collection excellence. His dream to open his own collection agency based on principles and ethics that benefit both clients and employees alike, was achieved in 1997 with the launch of Acclaim Credit Technologies.
